I think all SupeRugby teams have got to change their mindsets on this. Yep, SBW and Fruen have been fantastic; but at some stage, one or both of them are going to be injured or need to be rested. Using the centres as the example, I think teams should be looking to recruit three top level centres. Even if they don't have injuries, the player is still there to put pressure on starting places and make some competition for spots.

Mind you, I don't know that there are too many players that would agree to possibly play second fiddle. You'd need to convince them.

To be honest, I don't think the Crusaders need any more outside backs. They've had a shocking injury run this year, and still managed to finish 3rd overall and win the NZ conference. Think about their backs- 9. Ellis 10. Carter 11. Guildford 12. Williams 13. Fruean 14. Maitland 15. Dagg RES: Marshall, Berquist, Crotty, Whitelock, Ward, Heinz. Do they really need another 'top line' centre? I think they could easily adapt to a 2nd flyhalf gameplan and slot Berquist into #12. It's what Deans preferred whilst coaching there and Blackadder learnt under him, so why not?

Pocock is from Zimbabwe. You know, Mugabe, genocide. Ring a bell?

South Africa have taken a few big names from other parts of Africa- Mtawarira, Montgomery- any other examples of people know of?

Nonu could potentially be a bit of a waste, apparently the sharks had 4 boks sitting on their bench against the 'Saders, including RWC Captain John Smit

I don't understand why the Hurricanes let him go? His attitude can't be that bad, he seemed genuinely upset when talking about his departure. Next year Cruden should be performing a bit more consistently and a backline of Weepu-Cruden-Gear-Nonu-Smith-Savea-Jane would rival the best in the competition.

Most of them were forwards though. The centers were the Sharks biggest weakness, Bosman an old man Terblanche aren't that good, Nonu would be a great aquisition.

That being said I can't see him moving to SA, I think another NZ franchise or Europe will be his destination.

In nz at the moment, news tonight says Nonu may be heading to blues next year. Pat Lam was very cagey when asked about it.
