Has Quade actually put the boots on for GPS yet or are people assuming he's aligned with them because his younger brother played there instead of Souths?
He wore GPS socks in his most-recent outing for the BaaBaas, and I believe his switch was confirmed shortly thereafter - but I don't believe he's actually turned out for them. One of the GPS faithful might be able to shed some more light

During COVID Quade, Kerevi and Genia trained with the GPS team. Only Genia ended up taking the field but the others ran water on game days. I don’t believe they got clearance to play whereas Genia got a family based one for a quick cameo with his brother.

Quade is uncapped for GPS and probably unconfirmed if he is currently on their ‘books’ officially.

This is honestly depressing. Manly having 2023 U18s Captain Joe Walsh and Onitoni Large the NSW U16s Captain who blew away everything in front of them.

Interested to see how he goes for Scots this year but just wanting to play him in the NRL trials says there's something to the kid. I knew he was quick but 10.74 already and he wants to break the GPS record of 10.58 is bloody quick for a five-eighth.

Said it in regards to other kids who have chosen League. I hope Rugby don't just go incommunicado with them. He's 17 and going to be on the market again by the time hes 20/21 and Rugby should be welcome to submit an offer and leave good relationships.

No NRL last year. Injured with a fairly serious back injury atm.

Won’t surprise me to see him in Rugby next year. He’s chewing up a top 30 spot at the Titans with no experience and injured. They are going about as well as they ever do so far this year as well.

Pretty interesting 5 min chat from him, came out yesterday (I just googled him to see what he was up to)

Gets in to what the Titans did to get his signature

so the Titans were desperate for his sig and the other supe clubs werent. he seems to take offense that the supe teams weren't falling over themselves.
good on him and I like him as a bloke but should never have been given a gold jersey which just inflated his value on the market.
wish him all the best.
Rugby Australia needs to watch this interview! Amateurs in recruitment and people skills!

Being objective here, what did he expect the other clubs to do?

He bailed out on the Reds who had a development plan for him before leaving. After he left the Reds were investing in Tom and HMP.

The Tahs have Tane and Lawson. The Brumbies have Noah and Jack while to Force have Donaldson.

Where and why did Carter think he was going to land a gig. Just goes to show no player is bigger than the club and if you decide to move on, don't be surprised if the club moves on as well.

I think the point here is he had a gig. He didn't want to leave the Rebels. Through no fault of himself that option is gone, so he is already pretty ambivalent to rugby in australia

And the Tahs would have been the natural fit. Edmed and Creighton only signed on in August and September, well after Gordon signed with league in june

he'll come back. NRL can be a pretty insular, shitty inward looking place. It'll hurt when he sees the world cup and Lions tours.

He didn’t want to play for the tahs. He wanted to be close to family in qld. It’s all a bit weird if you ask me. I don’t know what his contract at the titans is worth but it makes more sense to try and play in France or Japan if you ask me.
