Paarl I think you'll find there are bad winners and losers everywhere. They are usually louder than the good winners and losers which is why you notice them. I'd give your stress levels a rest by ignoring the morons and focusing on the good guys.
Very good advise but I have this competitive instinct in me since day 1 doing sport (even on the pool table or dart board), those giving me the most mouthfull during or before a match/game motivate me the most in trying to defeat them and getting the most satisfaction beating them. Those telling me they have no change is the biggest demotivator and I actually hate beating them.
You're not actually playing though mate, so what exactly are you being competitive about? Celebrate or lament, boet. Every dog has his day with his arse in the sun.

Supporting Boet, supporting. Hell what a disappointing crowd in the NPC finals. Compare that to our CC and it just show the differences between the two countries. Think their was a bigger crowd attending our schoolboy 7s finals on the weekend.

Now I see a lot of maoning regarding the Carter high swinging arm and being cited. Some things will never change, imagen if Schalk or Bakkies did that on Carter, that same white collar lot would have wanted them to be cited for 6 weeks.

Was a great test and win by the All Blacks.

Supporting isn't about competing with the other fans, it's bout being there to cheer for your team and tke happiness from win.

As for the crowds, yeah, you have a far larger population and the next day was only a dirt-tracker match for the Bokke. The crowd was smaller as has been the trend recently, no argument, but there were many other factors - not least of all, who gives a fuck about Canterbury vs Wellington! On a Saturday night, before a test match! I didn't, I barely watched the bloody thing after the first 20mins.

We'll never know if thats true. I will argue that DC is hardly in the same club as those two when it comes to high tackles or general thuggery. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a week off (wouldn't have played vs Italy anyway) or gets let off because of his previously clean record, but we'll see.

I think we all know you don't like a lot of the fern guys now mate - please make sure you don't use my posts a piggyback for bitterness over here. I mean that in the best possible way. Cheers.

It was a good test, except for the ref wanting to blow the pea out of his whistle, but I don't blame him - I blame his boss for not sorting out the rules enough. I liked seeing the Welsh get closer on the scoreboard again, but I'm not going to hope they ever get on the right side of the sheet!!

Boet I never compete with other fans , try to explain the before big talkers and when the result dont get their way they use a whole bunch of excuse like the ref and this or that or just plain disappear. I'll wait for the results and then start talking if you get my drift.

Can guarentee you in SA if we play CC finals, we'll support them. Even our first division final in Witbank between the Pumas and SWD draw a big crowd. You saw when the BIL tour here the S14 final was still full house.Think the absense of top All Blacks may play a role.
