It just doesn't have the same sting.

As much as I hated Gregan for saying it, that line has got to be one of the best sledges ever. It hurt so much cos it was true!! LOL

It was a good sledge because it still rankles Kiwis eight years later. Then again it might just be the national psyche, they're still going on about the underarm incident 30 years after it happened.

The chant started at 78min. I know, cos we started it. So timing was about the same. (Would have been exactly the same - that's what we'd planned. But the Wallabies were camped on our tryline and we didn't want them to ruin things by scoring a try.)
