There is super rugby on demand. At the moment there is only the semi finals and final from last year. Not sure about NBA. But I'd say it would be similar.

Not sure how long they stay up for.

So you get replays of Super Rugby on demand too? What commentators do you get? Anyone know about the NBA? Do you get replays of them, and most of the games? Keen to watch Super Rugby and NBA (the Sixers mainly) and dump Foxtel for something much cheaper. Watching on demand replays is the dream.

You get the NBA games they broadcast that day on ESPN. Not sure how long they stay up for, but it's a few days at least- watched the Sixers/Lakers game after work last night.

I'd imagine it's the Fox comms on the Super games.

The other issue for me is that I use the streaming old Foxtel Play app on my smart TV, and the thing is not good. Their streams also tend to struggle if the TPG network is a bit loaded, which is every Friday and Saturday night.

Ash, I purchased NBA League pass this year, quite expensive (works out to around $30 a month) but it's definitely the best place for NBA streaming, replays etc.

They offer a $20 per month team pass where you can select the Sixers and stream every game live they play in, and replay to your hearts content. I highly recommend.

You get the NBA and the games will stay up for about a week I have found. The games are up for demand as soon as they start basically. You can join the stream 'live' or from the start of the program and when the game is finished it stays up there for about 2 weeks. Or at least that is what I've found with the premiership rugby matches on there.

Yeah, seriously considered a team pass this year. Just couldn't justify it. I think I will next season though, or maybe when it gets closer to the playoffs. Do you know if you get to choose your commentators on league pass? Would much rather listen to Zumoff and Alaa (or even Doris Burke) for example, than say, Tommy Heinson.

PS the NBA app is incredible when compared to the lack of super rugby options.

So, today I lashed out and upgraded to a chromecast ultra. It gives a noticeable improvement in the quality of the cast. Worth it.

I think I might do the same. I have a super old apple tv that is just way too glitchy. Is there any benefit to upgrading to an apple tv rather than a chromecast?

Yeah you can choose your comms on league pass. I have a deal that gives me 10 games a month for $14. But they let it pile up, so I've got 45 games in the bank at the moment, so I'm well covered once the playoffs start.
