What are peoples thoughts about the 3rd/4th Grade ACT comp's combining with the Monaro 1st/2nd Grade comp's?

Not a good move by the ACTRU I think.

A couple of ACT based players ( Andrew Robinson was one) ended up in NSW NRC teams, one of which has a trend of acquiring NRC players for their feeder club.

Are they all back for John 1 Dent this year?

You would think Michael Wells and most likely Les Makin will be all playing mostly for Qbn this year - mix that with Penca, OJ Noa - and acouple of the other old boys and they will prob have the best pack in the comp.

Guessing Rodney Iona didn't get a contract extension?

Has a draft draw been made for the JID yet or am I jumping the gun ? I ,like #8, am interested to find out how Monaro fit into the 3 & 4's draw. Would they play the 3 & 4's of the club that has the bye each week in JID and would that mean travel to Young Cooma & Goulburn pending on the make up of both draws or would all games be in the ACT ?

Less than a month out from kick off, my fearless predictions for the JID cup this year:
Uni to build on their form last year and be in a 3 way dogfight with Daramalan and the Lions for 4th spot.
QBN and Tuggeranong to bounce back.
Blue Baggers to be strong throughout the grades, and push hard for back to back wins in 1s...
