Sheehan plays too much like a flanker for me. His distribution (a core half back skill) in the last few games has been well below par and has stifled whatever attack we've been trying to mount. That is the nub of the reason for our travails this year: a lack of accurate, crisp passing in the halves on attack. We've got guys in the outside backs who can really go, but we aren't providing them with the quality or quantity of opportunities to score points. It's all been from broken play and/or counter attack and furthermore, mostly due to pieces of individual brilliance. That does not consistently win you games of rugby at this level -- the defences are too good for that.
