Pocock leaving the Force may Force the club WARU to do a complete cleanout... it may be what is really needed before things get better, they certainly have great supporters...

Agree and feel for Force supporters - they are a loyal bunch and deserve a good team

Just watched the Q&A program. David Pocock may become one of my favourite players just for what he does off the field. I understand he's a pretty committed christian - if only more of them thought like him......

Rugby is growing in WA and Victoria but the reality is that the Force and Rebels will continue to recruit from NSW and Queensland.

Rugby is a professional sport. The players in Brisbane club rugby are no more the domain of the Reds than they are of any other team including the Tahs. Vice versa also applies.

Really? Pretty sure the owner of the Reds, the QRU, help fund rugby in Queensland. Why don't the reds have more domain over those players than the other states?

They don't own the players. Players seeking to make a life out of being a professional rugby player are going to seek opportunities wherever they lie.

Some players will always turn down more lucrative deals to stay with their home state, but others, particularly those with families or less money behind them are forced to seek a better pay cheque.

No, no one obviously owns the players.
But there is no misgiving in wanting a player to play for the representative team of the locality in which he was born/raised/played in...
