I'm sure this is a good app, but I prefer just shouting at the TV & then marching in uneducated & on my high horse into rugby forums...

Laws are too complex, the more people know them, the more people are just going to get wound up at referee's missing things that don't go their way.

....and it is sooooo much more effective if you are have your woobly boots on at the time. Although the sober readers seldom seem to get the true point of the rant.

Tried this on my iphone.

not sure I'm all that impressed with it so far.

Everything is there, but could not seem to be able to zoom in or out to read fine detail.

Don't think it will be of any use to solve any arguments in the pub after the match.

You mean even the iPhone interprets the rules poorly? If Apple can't get it right, the officials are screwed.
