Fiji kick off to start 2nd half.
Fiji PK from kick off. Quick hands and Fiji #12 gets meat in the corner. Fiji 19 - Aus 0 (5:29 left).

PK to Aus for offside at breakdoen by Fiji, Tap kick and Gold progress for 2 phases and knock on Fiji. Aus Scrum. PK to Aus - Fiji offside at scrum.

No structure to Aus attack.
3:29 Fiji knock on. Aus Scrum - 34 metres from Fiji line.
3:06 Aus knock on. Fiji Scrum same place as last one.
2:20 Aus have ball in their 22 under pressure from Fiji. Loose ball snapped up by Fiji, easy meat for Fiji #5. Conversion is good. Fiji Lead 26 - 0. 1 minute to go.

Finally Shannon Walker gets concillation meat with individual pace out wide from halfway. Conversion missed. Fiji 26 Aus 5. Full time.

Fiji impressive. Aus ordinary.

Probably won't see us in the Cup final with performances like this.

After another opening day disappointing performance, Aus are in the running for the Bowl.

At least there is some good company there with ENG, WAL, SCO also in contention for the Bowl.

How good will the Cup QF be, Fiji vs Samoa and NZ vs Kenya with winners playing in the SF.

Ben Ryan seems to be making a difference to the Fijians play, with more aggression and discipline at the breakdown.

Time for some drastic action. More money, and some better players, please. Raid the schoolboys ranks now, get some young guns into the squad and keep them there until Rio.

The biggest single difference that Ben Ryan makes is that he is able to pick the best team, without fear or favour, being above tribal and political loyalties.

A fully charged Fiji will win everything from now on.

How come there is never any question about Michael O'Connor's position as coach of the Oz Side. he has had the role for a number of years and I cannot see any improvement or change in style of play in this time, We still apply very naïve tactics and have a style of play that is very different to other more successful sides.

What is his record in charge of the team?

Ignacio Martin gets meat for Spain in Spain vs Septica in the Bowl QF.

Try of the tournament. This will end up on a best of reel.

His first meat.

His second meat was also a good effort, but he looks like he wrecked his knee as he crashed into the goal post pads as he scored.

^^^ Great game to watch as well.

Kenya currently disrespecting NZ invincibility. 6 min gone 0-0.
But NZ get meat with seconds left in the 1st half.

Bowl final

Oz and England score a try each in first possessions to make it 7-7.

Walker gets good bounce of ball and under the posts for his second. 14-7 Oz at oranges.

Poms score with 1st possession after the break and 14-14.

Asquith in at the corner post after taking the blind from a ruck near touch. Oz 19-14.

Poms score in their possession after kickoff and go ahead 21-19. 3 mins to go.

Poms win their kick-off but go into touch.

Oz penalised for shoulder charge. Eng on attack after penalty kick and score winning try to win 28-19.

Oz look ordinary compared to how they played in some tournaments in last two years.

Edit - Oops - didn't know you were still up HJ and was typing this in one go.

Asquith gets meat in the corner after 3 phases. Unconverted. Aus 19 Eng 14. 4 minutes left.

3:20 left Eng score next to posts. Eng take lead 21- Aus 19.
Eng recover their kickoff but taken into touch. Aus win lineout.

PK for shoulder charge by Aus after AR report. TV unable to find footage of alleged shoulder charge. Possible to be related to a clean out. Eng kick for touch. Lineout on Aus 22 metre, and after a simple backline move they get meat. 1 minute left and Eng convert try. Eng 28 - Aus 19

30 seconds left. Siren gone. PK to Aus. 2 phases upfield and Aus knock on.

Full time. Soap Dodgers get the Bowl. Final Score 28 - 19.

Breakdown work rather ordinary from Aus, compared to accuracy and physicality seen from SAF, NZL and SAM.

Plate Final:

Fiji just far too good for Les Frogge. Fiji 40 - France 19

Disappointing to see the Wizards not in the Final against a Red Hot SAF team. They will regret being ambushed by Samoa in Quarter Final.

NZL v SAF for the Cup will be a pearler of a game based on form so far.

Appropriate for Saffers to win the tournament in a wonderful display of power 7's.

They shut The Darkness out in the 2nd half, starving then of the ball and territory.
