The Darkness were very lucky to hold off the Wizards in their Semi-Final after establishing a usually unbeatable lead of 12 points with 2 minutes to go. Fiji never giving up gave it a red hot go and looked dangerous until the final knock on after the siren which gave the game to NZ at 19-14.
Pity this was a 7 minute SF and not a 10 minutes each way Final.

Canadian wife has already ratcheted up the trash talking-loser cooks dinner. I've confidently put my order in.

FT 54-7. Superb display, tackling, breakdown work, a clinical display. ABs played average against Fiji, but this was a rout. They never allowed Canada in the game. Well deserved win. Kudos to Canada though, great effort to make the final, and they are now 6th in rankings.
