There are a few Mungoes at St Aug's and of course these days many boys play both codes.

There are a number of Manly Harold Matts and SG Ball players at Auggies, don't write them off !

I'm about to wander down to Brookie. My theory will be if be: if the set pieces are compromised the taller 2nd rowers and bigger props will not be of the same value as they are in union. On the other hand if the lineouts and scrums are the same as in the 15 man game the league fellows will be disadvantaged and may not be safe.

If the rules slant the match to are more open game you'd expect the league players who are more of the same, mobile type to do better than the union lads to whom set pieces are more important.

Both set of lads have probably played both sports at some time; so maybe it won't matter too much.

I am more interested in what the rules are than anything else.

PS. I bet that Pappa, the Augies coach, has something up his sleeve.

From what I watched it seemed it favoured Union way more then League. When the league rules were in place it was effectivley just a chance for the sides to have a breather. Both teams stop attacking the ruck, and as a former flanker that made me sick haha!

Not to worry, as a former flanker you wouldn't be on there.
