Larkhams first and last test at flyhalf for the wallabies was great. Cooper has yet to have a good Test for the wallabies (maybe one - cant remember which one).

Cooper is an outstanding Super 15 player, but an average error prone test player. End of debate.

Of course he has. He's had plenty of good Tests. No one gets to play 30-odd Tests by never playing well. He had a poor Supe final against the Crusaders last year, which led into a poor 3N tournament and eventually that disastrous WC. Although he did play well against Wales in the third-place playoff until he broke himself.

That said, he's nothing on Larkham.

In Lee Grant's writeup on the Aus schools win over the NZ schools team he described the winning try scored by the Aus schools team. The ball movement and interplay described was mouth watering. It was a reminder of what I used to love about watching the wallabies.
I agree with Hux's article and I ask myself why has it got to this point.
I see the issue as a lack of clarity, and confidence in the backline. They don't know their roles, they play as individuals, they seem afraid of making mistakes.
It is the coaches responsibility to change this negativity in attitude and approach.
I don't think the coaches are capable of making the changes required to get these guys playing confident, selfless, intelligent rugby.
The Wallabies remind me now of the NSW State of Origin team. Bunch of brilliant individuals who cannot / don't know how / don't have enough faith to create a team environment where the team skills are greater than the sum of their parts.
My opinion on the forwards is similar but I have not discussed them here.

Your right, he has had good Test's. But I guess what I'm trying to say is that his freakishly superb super XV form has been not converted to test level, not even close. We need to stop using his Super XV form for evidence he is a good Test player.

That said, I still think he still has most potential out of all our 10's (but boy im sick of talking about potential, when are players going to live up to it). I would love to see him in the wallabies with a more composed, confident attitude, until then let Beale, Lealifano, and JOC (James O'Connor) can fight it out.
