Geez not a bad game for entertainment value. It a bit hard not to like the Clan, and I will say watching them is like watching a lot of ITM cup games, they strike me as a team of good mates who are just having a bloody ball!! Always someone in support, whether in attack or defence. Good advert why our game is so bloody good.

I had tickets for the ANZAC Test at Suncorp & got as far as the train station before discovering it's been postponed to Sunday arvo, took me an hour to get from Kingston Station to Marsden therefore missed the whole game. Serves me right for dallying with the Dark Side, I s'pose

Been saying it all year & will say it again, the Clan are a real chance to get at least as far as an away but still in Australasia semi final, though probably not good enough to go the whole way.

as an aside, I think the refereeing performance was nigh flawless. It wasn't too hard to ref a game probably, but Gardner did a very, very good job.

what a game, must be great to be a Highlnders fan, they are definite;y not an idiotic clumsy coachless rabble of distended jittery losers.
That Shawks pack is all munt though, the rolling maul etc. Coetzee, Bismawk etc. Not to worry bokke fans, world cup year, the titty tassel stuff of the Highlanders will get dumped in favour of a more forward-thinking focus on childbearing hips.

Have to ask, how good is Ben Smith playing, I know I ulaways rant how good I think A Smith is (and still will) but I can't think of a better 15 than Ben in super comp, it not very often he doesn't beat the first couple of defenders, his kicking game seems to be pretty good, and doesn't send me into a panic when he is last line of defence.
Also gotta add that bloody Fekitoa is doing some extremely good stuff, with or without the ball!!
