Gents,

Have problem, need help.

I have my ticket to the game in Paris and my Eurostar ticket booked but my accommodation has just fallen through. Calamity!

Can anyone help? Does anyone recommend an hotel at this late notice?? Failing that, any place to stay? A floor or a couch somewhere perhaps? Have cash, will pay for privilege...

Gagger will vouch for me.

Joe Mac, if you go on the match thread on Planet Rugby there are a bunch of Parisian locals there who may be able to help you out.

Paris wont be booked out because of a test match, you should have no problem getting somewhere to stay
during the world cup in 2007 we never prebooked any accommodation(except once in Lyon)but had no problem finding a room anywhere

I don't suppose that "Joe" is short for Josephine by any chance. Failing that you're on your own

It's not a hugely convenient location for Stade de France but I can recommend this place http://www.hotelvaladon.com/. I stayed there last time I was in Paris, with friends. All three of us loved it. But as I say, there'd be closer for the purpose.

Chateau Tah is not the biggest of places and my wife is not always keen on me bringing home strangers from a rugby match so not sure if that would work. There should be plenty of options for hotels, where in Paris do you want to stay? near the Stade or in town near the pubs? I will send you a PM.

Don't forget to take a change of clothes, J Mac...it'll be a v damp night out there...as Paris Tah has warned...

Snowed here up in east coast Scotland tonight...awesome big snowflakes!
