Would have liked to have seen the Bath v SF game as well :'( More of a bummer is that ESPN arent showing their games on their HD channel. Apparently a boxing documentary is more appropriate :angryfire:

Gasnier on the bench for Stade. Is Hugo Southwell really playing scrumhalf?

Stade were down to their 4th choice nine on Eurosport. (they do a great 30 min summary of each Top 14 round each week)

Munster 12 - Northampton 9...

Ahhh jaysus what a match, as per usual another fantastic night of rugby for Irish/ Munster Rugby fans. I got absolutley buckled watching this match which only added to the flavour.

I thought Northampton's front five were a fairly awesome unit in fairness to them, but the decision making from Gerathy at 10 was abysmal! Midway through the second half with 3 points in the game, Northampton were camping in Munster territory... a good ten would have pulled the strings and made sure the team kept ball in hand, moving it wide when the defence looked like caving.... NOPE Northampton kicked it away time and time again. Rubbish tactical decisions.

On a positive note the scrum seemed to improve once Dougie Howlett came into the back row, I dont know how this seemingly impossible feat was managed but with O'Connell in the sin bin, Munster were down to 7+ the Kiwi wing and surprisingly put together their best scrum of the night to steal it from Northampton 5 metres out. Seriously need to give that man Hayes his well earned retirement but Buckley seems to have the concentration of a Goldfish so I can't see it happening anytime soon!

Quiny pulled off the cheeky performance of a life time to get man of the match. Have to say if any other player on any other team got up to the s*** he gets up to I would hate the guts off them! But hey you gotta love the man.

I have to thing that If we tried to play a bit more rugby we would have put up a few more scores to win with more comfort, but I don't the game moved beyond 10. With JdV finally arriving fresh off the plane we coulda done more damage.

Anyhow great game... looking forward to the qtr's now, this competition seems to get more improbably entertaining each year! :yay

Roman. FUCKING. Poite.

Makes me think charitable thoughts about Bryce Lawrence's abilities as a referee.

And that God wasted the genetic material He could have used to make several million tape-worms on Dylan Hartley is enough to shake the strongest of faiths.

That is all, because if I start thinking about it again, I'll have a Naza. :angryfire:

Watch some of Stade v Edinburgh. It was a mess.

My main thought was that the way the rucks were reffed was atrocious. Time and time again I saw advantage being played for obvious playing on the ground, or coming in the side, or holding on, but yet the advantage was for a knock on. When you have crap like that happening, no wonder the game is an ugly arm wrestle. Utter shite.
