I know I shouldn't read his stuff, but WTF?

Each week it appears that only winning teams have any decent efforts

Brett Sheehan and Sharpe were outstanding for the Force
Robinson & Kepu were up against the Franks brothers and did wonderfully

Both Reds and Brumbies played bottom of the comp teams so did well whereas Tahs in a close score get nothing. Force match I havent seen yet.
It has been said time and time again, Growden has no cred.

The Lions were truly awful. Whilst the Brumbies played quite well, that many selections in the team of the week is ridiculous.

Speight and Auelua definitely.

Lealiifano missed too many kicks at goal for my liking.

The others you could debate til the cows come home.

Lealiifano was great with ball in hand, only thing poor about his game was his goal kicking which in the end did not cost them the game. Deserve to be in the team IMO.. who else would u have picked?

Can't wait till the Brumbies Waratahs game on Saturday. Then maybe we'll see who really are the "players of the week".

As said, he only judges winners as worthy.

The brumbies were against a bottom of the table team, but they played some fantastic rugby, while these things are always arguable , most of the brumbies picks can be well justified. No need to get to upset about it.

What if in one week, the 3 playing Oz sides loses against other teams, and the other Oz team having its bye that time might get some players in then? :)

They got the four points at any rate, so that's a win in Growden's book...

Dennis was fantastic in the losing Tahs team. I thought Pakalani, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Kepu were also.

Win lose or draw I personally thought it was a good week for Australian player performances. There were plenty who stood up.

Before I read this I figured that both Brumbies' wingers were a shoe in... they were both near perfect on the weekend...

McCabe and Lilo would be there... Fotu obviously... and most of the forward pack...

TPN was possibly hard done by...

And if Grumbles wanted to put in a player out of position he could've had Higginbotham at 6 instead of Gill...

But I'm not really surprised that there were no Tahs backs in there...
