Dont worry Boet, last week they all jump on Etsebet after Sharpe acted much worse. My wife winds me up like you wouldn't farking believe.
I was thinking about giving her a flying elbow to the face, but then I thought rational people might think this a little excessive. It appears I am wrong.

But you said rational people could understand a flying elbow to the face? Sorry, do you mean its' only ok on a rugby field? Apologies, I misunderstood.
Richard Loe will be pleased to learn that rational people understood his actions.

No, rational people can understand a player taking actions into his own hands when Richie is 'playing on the line' again because the Ref is not taking control. The action is not condoned however. One bloke got a yellow, lost the test for his team and gets a 2 week holiday. The other had a saw jaw till tuesday, I suspect. I know who wins that exchange.
Carozza was doing nothing cynical when Loe attacked him.
Personally I think they should allow rucking again, then this sort of cynical crap plaguing our game would stop in about 6 months. Then we could focus on what a good rugby player McCaw is rather than how much of a cynical prick he is.
Anyway I have made my points, and I am sticking too them. I don't really care what a New Zealander thinks regarding McCaw as its always the same, so I will just leave it there.

No, some of us don't agree it can be justified. Please don't put us all in the same box.Good stuff Jiggy, your stick to your guns. I never wanted to change your mind, I was just a little confused how rational people though a flying elbow to the head could be justified. What your saying now makes perfect sense. It appears it's a NZ problem.

you're wrong. no one thought he should be suspended.Dont worry Boet, last week they all jump on Etsebet after Sharpe acted much worse.
The frustration is justified, the elbow is not. Its a pretty black and white distinction which has been made all along.

If you watch the video, McCaw grabs the SA player with the ball just before the player is brought to the groun. McCaw is therefore a tackler and bound by Law 15.4(b): The tackler must immediately get up or move away from the tackled player and from the ball at once. McCaw never releases before playing at the ball.
