Does SANZAR have an open mind towards further expansion of the RC? And if so, would the commercial realities still rule out the inclusion of a Pacific Island team (either individually, if Samoa can maintain current standards, or in combination)?

Q2) How does SANZAR see the Super Rugby conference system evolving and how does it intend to cater to demands from South Africa for inclusion of a 6th team in coming years.

Q3) Does SANZAR consider the inclusion of Argentina successful and how has that reflected with sponsors and ratings.

Does he think the selection policies of touring sides in the trinations 2011, where seemingly secondstring sides ran on to the park, are an issue that can or should be addressed?

Has the organization considered reforming its approach to citations, hearings and associated penalties? Would a points system for offenses, set periods for suspensions, and definitive rules for prior offenses help make the judiciary more reliable, consistent and transparent?

BJ and Barb's incidents were the ones I was thinking of in particular. A few weeks after Digby's offense, Rob Horne was given a two game suspension for a pretty similar tackle on Beale. He would have received 4 games/weeks but had a clean record. Digby's prior offenses were in 2008 -- a full four years prior. In the space of a few weeks, we had the judiciary adjudicate two incidents differently and one not at all. Not only is there a question around the citation process, but also around the appropriate period for which prior offenses should remain on record. There is a question here, too, about what the differences might be between, say, a four-year-old headbutt or gouging charge versus a dangerous tackle. One speaks to malicious intent, the other to poor technique (or Butch James).

What innovative digital tools and technologies are SANZAR exploring for the future - smartphone apps, webcasting, youtubing, interactive websites, photo/video sharing from spectator devices, etc?

The Crusaders S14 match at Twickenham generated much interest. Is there any more plans to encourage affiliates to take SANZAR matches into new markets?

What opportunities do you see in the future for SANZAR to leverage off Rugby 7's being an Olympic Sport in 2016 @ Rio?

Has SANZAR considered going the way of the new media revolution and providing online legal streams of games in the future for a price?

As above any ideas of either u20s or reserve grade competitions as curtain raisers to Super rugby games.

Add the Strauss tip tackle as well.

Strauss:- 2 weeks for landing a Lions player on his head
Ioane:- 8 weeks reduced to 5 (includes +previous - remorse) landed player on back/arm
Poki:- not cited for tip tackle on AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

I think one of the issues is the large difference in penalties for similar offences with a relatively subjective difference in severity. By contrast the NRL grading system for offences tends to be more even going up in one week intervals (or sometime two week intervals, etc) across 5 severity grades.
