There seems to be a heavy misuse or no use of Icons in this thread and it really annoys me. Any chance of a Sticky for this subject?

the following will be a list of Icons and they're corresponding Competitions, in the event of a lack of Icon, please use the best suited one you can find.

fixed The S in ISA is Sporting, not Schools. The G in GPS has always been Great, not Greater. The C in CAS comes from Committee, not Combined, although they do use the CAS acronym themselves.

by all accounts in Aloysius during my tenure, when our rector was the principal of the association and by wikipedia its combined

though i don't really care, my aim is to get the icons used, not get the correct acronyms of the school associations

Is there a summary of what each of these organisations is about, and the schools that belong to each around anywhere?
I was genuinely interested, there's obviously a lot of talent coming up through the ranks and as a Barrenjoey High old boy it's a whole new world. It'd be great if we could put together a short summary in our wiki..

wikipedia then the old boys sections of the seperate schools will have the rugby players they've processed.

I know the NSW association ones are highly developed.

though you have to search for combined associated schools and independant schools association for the CAS and ISA ;-)


I can also tell you that the sydney comps if they where to be ranked would basically be

1.GPS
2.CAS
3.ISA
4.CHS (which is basically the rest)

in QLD i think its basically (though im not sure)

3.TAS
4.CSS (QRFSU, The rest again)
