I thought Sheehan was a little lacking this week; not quite sure how he made the bench. ;)

I thought Daly was very good again today.

His core business is the set peice. The scrum got destroyed and the lineout was 50:50 for the Reds and part of that was bad timing between the lifters/jumpers and thrower. Very very good around the park though I agree. We do however need a scrum and lineout.

I know you have man love issues with Kepu Gnostic but he really wasn't on the park long enough this week. Fairbrother was probably the best THP this weekend. Baxter is also worthy.

if you look at todays games lots of them where duds that did nothing. He often kicks for reason.

I thought Genia's kick choices were poor at times today. Dagg and Maitland would have caused havoc given the same ball an the Reds were fortunate that the Cru put a few down on counter-attack.

Kepu ticked all the boxes again, strong set piece and still dynamic around the park. It was I fear his last appearance in my team of the week unless he makes a miraculous recovery, or the Tahs play him with the injury in any event.

Fairbrother whilst good at the set piece wasn't as good IMO. Baxter solid at scrum and lineout but lacks the dynamic game of Kepu.

Fair enough.

Uuhhh didnt you watch James Slipper? His work was tireless, made many tackles and hit ups. Starting over Kepu this week

Prop's #1 job is to scrummage mate believe it or not.

Gnostic the fact you've included Sheehan leads me to believe you don't watch all the games? You realise he didn't play right?

I must have missed something, I thought he was out with injury. But Burgess was terrible, Valentine his usual dross, Phipps on a bye. Very lean pickings at 9 this week. I would have taken Swanepoul by default.

Slipper can't take top spot till his scrummaging improves, although to be fair to him Daley and Fainga'a do not help his cause.

Gnostic isn't the only one not watching games and rating players...

Paul Cully's weekly player ratings in the SMH gave Stephen Moore a 5/10, which was the lowest score and what most of the Brumbies' players received (aside from Jono Owen's 4/10), despite the fact that Moore was one of the best on ground, and deservedly the best Australian hooker of the week...

It's not the first time Cully's player ratings have been more than a little bizarre...
