One of the French props went off at some point as well. I think this gave us a little help.

Oh I didn't say they were right or that I agreed with them.

Though to give spikhaza his due as a seer, the pack is pretty much on the money, incuding Pocock, and Genia/Cooper too. Genia had a good game, and Cooper (as the Rock said post-game) played his part in controlling the second half. That platform meant the outside backs ... well, we all saw the result.

The only player imo that should be allowed to grubber or chip kick is Beale. He's the only one that can do that shit, everyone else is a pretender - looking at you Genia/Cooper

Spent a lot of time watching conversions and preparing to receive kick offs. Did it pretty well too. What, should he have been showing his rock paper scissors tatt to the crowd?

I think you will find AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) kicked a great grubber to set up Mitchell's second try.

I got a few predictions wrong most notably AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)... Always wanted the ball straightened excellently. 8
McCalman... was shithouse at getting over the advantage line. Shithouse defense at times too. 5
Fat Cat played well when he came on
Slipper started on the bench for the reds... and is basically now almost one of Aus's first choice props? wow.
J'OC had a great game with 10 from 12 kicks

So basically uh everyone played great except for:
Mark Chisholm - was nowhere? Didn't see him around the park much. Didn't want to get involved. yet he is the biggest bloke i've ever seen!
Ben McCalman - neh story of richard brown, comes on in first couple of tests makes an impact sets up a try and then plays shithouse

I think Coopers contribution is a little undervalued as well, his tactical kicking for field position really kept the pressure on the French side especially when the Australian momentum had stagnated. Looking back at the replays as well he had pretty decent contribution to a number of tries.

Robinson Try - Cooper spread the ball to Beale who popped to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) who was tackled shy of the tryline, Cooper and Beale cleared out and Robinson picked the ball and dove over
Mitchell Try(1) - Cooper picks the ball up on the far touchline, sends a 25m pass to Pocock, simple draw and pass exercise see's Mitchell over in the corner.
Mitchell Try(2) - Cooper passes to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) grubbers through for Mitchell to gather and score
Mitchell Try(3) - Cooper kick, Elsom fumble sees Mitchell score
JOC (James O'Connor) Try - Giteau-Cooper wrap around makes space on the outside for Beale and JOC (James O'Connor) to go through

I said pre-match that they should be looking to kick to the corners to put pressure on the French lineout...

I'm glad they seemed to actually be playing to a gameplan rather than just "run at whatever is in front of you"...
