Personally I'd have Simmons over Wykes. Whilst Chapman was goof, I thought Hodgson was outstanding

I would probably of had Chapman and Hodgson in the starting XV with Pocock on the bench.

Chapman/Hodgson hard to split, and really Hodgson is just another 7 playing at 6.

Beale was individually good but still does so many silly low percentage plays. Phipps no way in the world he was better for the Rebels than Genia. Phibbs for the Mules I could see an argument for and hence he made the bench.

Chis made lots of yards running at Cooper. Wykes and Sharpe did their work against a fairly tough set of pigs, Simmons is very consistant and Timani did well against the Neanderthal twins.

I thought he was as well Reg, but I thought McCalman was better. Hodgeson get the nod on the bench as he can truly cover all three backrow spots and do it well, and he was excellent as well on the Weekend and would've had him at 6 except who to pick then to cover the backrow spots.

I doubt either the Brumbies or the Reds would have got anywhere near as close to the Bulls at Loftus, they are back to their 2010 form I reckon. Granted five of the Tahs were injured or carded, but I still think Beale, Timani and Baxter were better than the chosen 15, given the quality of the opposition. Hodgson was the best backrower from the Force. Sorry if that means Pocock doesn't automatically go to 7 but this is the team made up of the best players this week. And Swanepoul was very good, even if spelling his name is a nightmare.
