3 Waugh - saved a try and got his peeps' shit together
2 Beale - class attack from the back. The show-n-go fakey kick to turn wonderboy Freuen inside out was awesome. He and Rene Ranger will be seeing a shrink about their complete lack of defensive ability.
1 TPN - smashed some fuckers in the tackle.

Desmond Connor (43)
3 Waugh (magnificent game - how many more like that does he have in him?)
2 Beale - classy attack and was I confusing him with another player who put a great hit on a Crusaders player in defence deep inside the 'tahs half
1 Douglas - didn't do anything flash but I thought he did the little things well like clean outs at ruck time which are often overlooked.

3. Waugh - Fantastic game and very measured speech after the game. If I'd been him, I would have been bleeped off.
2. Beale - His best game since the last time he played in Christchurch
1. Chris Hickey. Yes, I did say that. Had a game plan that was doing the business and pulled the players when they werent up to it.

Benn Robinson is seriously off his game at the moment. He still hasnt signed for the Tahs and I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up at the Rebels and all the negotiations are doing his head in.

TPN had an off night for me. Still some big hits but not his usual game

Hangers was ordinary tonight. Unfortunately Barnes still isnt up to speed enough to cover him.

Mitchell worked hard for little reward - deserved better.

Horne is getting better and better each week.

Turner was missing in action - but not as much as Carter when he came on. Thought is would have been his kind of game but he offered, and delivered, less than nothing.

3. Waugh, vintage performance
2. Beale, in everything and looked most likely to make the game winning play
1. Dunno, Horne for the try I guess but no strong contenders really.

We didn't have the ball nearly the whole time he was on. Hard for him to do anything he's good at.

Sorry - those 19 trillion or so negatives should be given to Hickey for not having a prop on the bench.

A fucking pork chop could probably keep its fucking shoulders above its fucking hips if it fucking had any.

Kepu has been dicked around somewhat by trying to make him a THP (when we had a ready-made one in Dan Palmer) but loosehead is something he should do in his fucking sleep. The fluffybunny.

3. Waugh - Saved a try
2. Beale - That show 'n' go, fake kick step was beautiful
1. Horne - he is a real improvement to the back line.
