Sorry Fuse - I had to change my mind after watching Mumm carve up in the play and the captaincy stakes.

until Burgess stops running towards the person he's passing to like a 5 year old, no points.

No bad tahs tonight and I feel dirty giving two backs points as I think it was our forwards who won us the game. But they hunted as a pack tonight and no one really stood out (which is good thing). The scrums were a bit bodgy so I have ruled out the front row, Alcock was good and improved as the game progressed but that could be because the game got quite open and sloppy. Plenty of other 3-2-1 combos would be valid.

The reserves all seemed to be a clear step backwards when they came on so I think we now have a very clear idea of our best 15. For those who were also at the game, worst half time entertainment ever - Siscor - paper - rock OMG.

Burgess is killing me with the way he runs with the ball across field before passing to a guy covered with defenders

Would of loved to have given one to Al for finally scoring a try and to Barnes for finally playing well.

Honourable mention: Alcock. How does a guy who played mostly 2nds at Gordon last year and then plays hot and cold for the JWs this year come out and play like that. Those guys giving out contracts at the 'tahs must know their shit. He was good.
Best game for Barnes, hopefully he is finding a bit of form.
Hope Horne's hammy's alright. Didn't like the way he pulled up at the end. Could be a disaster.
Thought Fatcat struggled at scrum time tonight. ?Dodgy shoulder?

Fatcat struggled, Cheetahs THP did a good job on him.
Cheetahs pack in general were good. Backs were shite. I can see how they win Currie Cups - keep it tight, no ball to the backs...they looked good when they followed this mantra.

They had guys kicking at targets 30m away - farkin stupid. Of course no focker hit them. Typical NSWRU brains trust nonsense. Better off getting some bird shooting ping-pong balls...

I remember at a league game, Raiders in Canberra, they shot balls in the air for people to catch and one of the people got falconed. Hilarious, but she got whiplash and they never did it again.

Special mention to Fuse after seeing this quote from him about his try scoring "I'm not one for milestones. I'm a front-rower and tighthead prop, so it's set piece first and foremost, and hard yards around the field."

youngsters take note

Yep - ref failed completely to ping the right guy. Cheetahs THP had his shoulders too low all night and only started to get pinged in the second half
