3 - Shmoo; why the fuck did Hickey take him off?
2 - Palu; work rate
1 - TPN; power and pace

I saw a bit of Douglas - mainly when he was giving away penalties?

3 Mitchell - Hickey's a knob.
2 TPN - good lineout, good work rate around the field, hard hits.
1 Hangers - added spark when he came on. Should start.

carter can't run straight.

Now I'll die content. I've read it all. There are no more surprises left in life.

Truth be told, he didn't at all during this match.

Haven't we had enough Carter bashing ?

Carter vs the Stormers (source: http://www.ruggastats.co.za/games.aspx?G=14)
7 tackles, 0 misses
8 carries, 1 line break, 80% over the gain line.

From what I saw, our inside backs crabbed so much our outside backs would have had to be in the 2nd row of the grandstand to get the pill. Carter had little choice but cut back inside into heavy traffic.

3. Mowen
2. Mitchell
1. Palu

On Mitchell being taken off early, I think it was more the game was gone and they want to try a couple of things. Namely Mitchell has one of the back three spots sewn up, Anesi has done nothing, stick him on the wing & stick Beale at 15, Barnes at 12 and bring on Hangers.

All of a sudden the backs looked more structured and Beale looked much more dangerous at 15 and Anesi continued to do nothing.

I actually thought Turner did OK

If you want to try something, surely Mitchell at fullback, where he can chime in and get more involved, would be the go ?

I thought we looked better for just 1 reason - Halangahu plays closer to the advantage line.
