3- a Fainga'a

1- S Fainga'a- has not be rated all year but doing what a hooker should, we are winning ball and gaining metres

by who? People have been very positive about him here.

I think he has deserved points most weeks but has not been getting them. He gets a small mention by "experts" but has been a quiet achiever in my opinion.

He recieved positive reports about his throwing sonce the trials but not too much about his genc=eral play.

I think he has been awesome.

Yeah he is an absolutle gun. When you take into account his age + the position he plays, it's quite remarkable really(games played, set-piece, work-rate, etc).

And how good to Holmes look when he came on?

I think Holmes has been good every time he has come on this year, I'm expecting McKenzie to start rotating the props while we're on safari.

I'm actually expecting a lot of rotation in the coming weeks so it's good to see players like Lucas, Holmes, Schatz & Simmons showing form & stepping up.

Hardman needs to improve or else Link may ask Hanson to step up which is a bit tough on Hardman for his years of loyal service.

Yeh, Hardman's lineout throwing has been fairly off target this season. I think one of the reason why the Reds lineout has been going so well this season is because of Saia's accurate throwing.

I can't pick them so no 3-2-1 from me again.

Hardman is doing what link wants from him in his last year of super rugby. Mentoring a new hooker and hopefully Finger will come on enough this year to give ?Hanson a run off the bench some time.

Ruggo, Diggers or Fainga'a, which one mate?

Ok, give it to Diggers given it was his first start for the year in that position. Fainga'a is like Genia and Braid. They have just set the standard so high in every game this year that we will all probably scream blue murder when they finally have a game when they are nothing short of brilliant. Absolute credit too them. Cooper is not far behind.

1. Cooper
2. A. Fainga
3. S. Fainga

This was a bloody tough one. Special mention to Diggers, Higgers and Genia.

3 Cooper
2 Genia
1 Braid

It really is getting very difficult to single out Reds players for these points, and again I find it easier to pick the average performers than the good ones:

Average but still passable: Hynes, Va'alu, Simmons

Poor: er... no one.
