I'm glad to see Samo put it in for the Reds. He was totally dicked by Eddie Jones IMO.

3/ Cooper - Despite losing, he put in a solid game. To be fair he did some good work in defence.
2/ Genia - The Canes had no idea how to handle him in the first half.
1/ Samo - great tough effort from a bloke who was underdone. Some great hits in defence.

3. Genia - When the reds were down Genia (n Ioane) seemd to be the only ones trying to lift the team.
2. Cooper
1. Samo

P.S. Genia for wallabies captain. I was actually impressed by how angry he was that they were losing, was giving it all when the going gets tough.

3. Genia - if he can keep this level of performance up in the international he's gotta be world player of the year (if that award was actually given to the best play in the world for a particular year, which it isn't).

2. Cooper - Ran the game well. Much better than last week.

1. Higgers - support play was brilliant.

-100000000 Shaw. Lost us the game. 2 trys while he was off, which meant the Reds were chasing the game and let more in.

Minus plenty for Andrew Shaw - someone commented in another thread that he is a penalty magnet, and boy were they ever right. Pure idiocy putting him on the park and the root cause of yesterdays flogging. Send him back to the filth, never to pull on a reds jersey again.

Ridiculous, he wasn't the sole reason the Reds lost. They beat the Crusaders down a man, the whole team needed to step up last night. Give him a break.

Shaw wasn't the reason the Reds lost but he should never have touched that team.

3. Ioane - the boy can run
2. Humphries - aggressive, good workload
1. Cooper - back to his magic tricks for that fabulous 20mins or so in the 1st half, solid throughout.

3. Samo. A huge effort in that game for his first run in super 14 (I think he left before it was Super 14). Solid hard work around the park and always wanted the ball in his hand.
2. Ioane another player who always wanted the ball with numerous half breaks.
1. Genia has to be the first picked in the wallaby side this year.

Shaw certainly din't help - reckon the yellow was rough but it always (penalties) happens to him. Reckon Link must have been filthy filthy filthy. Thought he was worth selection last Friday morning but upon reflection he should now be playing for the Dinmore Bushrats.
1. Samo (thought he would blow up with the puff)
2. Genia
3. Cooper
