3 - A Finger: Booked himself a squad possie
2 - Super Sanchez: Still class behind rabble of a pack
1 - er, um, I guess Hynes didn't fuck too much up, coupla good kicks?

Some nice pilfering from Braid, but also missed tackles and knock-ons at crucial times

Liked the look of S Finger but the line-out was a basket case

Didn't help losing the starting two locks in first first 20 or so

And I think that was what it was too. When the Reds lifted a player at the back of the lineout (Higgen?) but Fingers threw to the front of the lineout, you knew there was something wrong there, and no-one was taking control of the lineout.

So he had a role to play in it. And weren't there some line-out fuckups before the locks went?

3 A Finger, ran hard and straight
2 Genia, seems to be using fewer cliches in post match interview
1 Hynes, always made metres and has the speed to seriously trouble Tom Carter over 40 metres.

-1 Say Finger, crooked throws can't be blamed on lack of jumpers
-2 Cooper, poor kicking, poor decisionmaking, when he's bad he's terrible
-3 Houston, nice turnstile for Rocky to pop through.

I cant help but think that the fuck ups had more to do with Kennedy then anything, Saia was throwing to places where the players werent jumping at.. If you think back to the past few weeks when the lineout has been pretty solid, the only thing which changed tonight was having Kennedy in there instead of Weeks..

The lifters are equally as essential as the hooker and jumpers in the lineout

3. Braid (shit he's a tough little bugger)
2. Genia (still good even when the pack is being crunched)
1. S Finger (for continuing to stick in his head in those scrums against all logic)

3/ Genia
2/ A. Fainga'a
1/ Holmes

Digby was out and about in this game but he suffers from AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) syndrome in not passing the ball. Cooper made some bad decisions. It was if he felt like he needed to play the savior alone and not trust the blokes around him. He tried to do too much. Houston, I am running out of patience with him.

Anyways time to move on.

2. Braid
1. Cooper

I don't think Cooper gets much love unless he has a blinder.

1. Q.Cooper

Cooper still showed he was trying hard behind a beaten pack.

I agree HG. It was his composure that let him down. I would give him full marks for effort.

I honestly can't understand why people are giving diggers points, he's been very good this season, but he was anonymous last night. Was Brando even on the field? I don't think I saw him once get back and help Hynes at the back which is very poor because gits was kicking to that side of the field all night. OK enough ranting onto the points

3. A Faiagaa - Tackled like a machine all night, love the way he just goes straight for the legs.
2. Braid - Worked very hard but made a few errors which is unusual for him, but work very hard in defence and around the ruck.
1. Hynes - Kick well, tried to run the ball back but didn't have many options without that useless brando getting back.

I have been saying this all season! :banghead :banghead :banghead
