So why so long to put JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 where he shoulda bin all the time. Some great runs and his pass is very sublime.

Its a thing of beauty rw - he just puts it into the perfect spot for his players. However I get the feeling that with his play so close to the line, opposition teams may start looking for interecepts

Because John Mitchell is a rubbish coach who has done nothing for Australian Rugby since coming over. The ARU should never ever appoint another Kiwi coach again when Deans & Mitchell are gone.

The first two really busted a gut ad O'Connor showed some real skill in attack.

I watched the game on IQ with liberal use of the fast forward button so cant do a 3,2,1 but from what I saw McCalman was giving it a red hot go.

O'connor's tactical kicking was very poor

3. Sheehan - gave simply everything, if you had a side all giving his level of effort you wouldn't lose too many
2. Hodgson - best 7 at the moment at attacking the ball
1. O'Connor - played well

1. Sheehan - geez he's looking the goods in a darker shade of blue!
2. Hodgson - is stepping up big time this year
3. Sharpe - leading from the from teh front

Honorable mention: Staniforth - wasn;t it good to see him pin his ears back and run straight! He's still got a bit of pace for an apparently old fella - Force should extend his contract past a piss weak 4 weeks for this year and next!
