It's interesting to read that people think habanas try was fine. From now on when someone gets a line break and has no one in front of them the ref may as well blow the whistle for a try and save time.

Come on people. Maybe touch judges should start calling people in touch when there a foot from the touch line.

There is a reason for lines on a pitch. Simple.

The ref and AR's were 30 metres behind play. It would have looked like a try from behind

As they would be after an intercept try which is by nature completely against the run of play. There are not too many AR's or refs who would be able to keep up with Habana at full pace. From their positions it would have looked like a certain try and they would not have had any reason to refer it to the TMO.

At the ground I didn't think there was anything wrong with it and it was only seeing the replay about 30 minutes later that gave me any pause at all. Didn't affect the result in the end, even though in my review I said it was a game turner. The Stormers would still have been too good.

And we move on...

Not surprising. Thought after the second try we could have nailed a bonus point. Joe P should have released earlier and JdJ nearly got through. Our lineouts costed us. We got in the right places but then screwed up our lineouts and only had the one decent drive. Hopefull we our lot have regrouped in Slaapstad it will come. Two mean derby matches away against the Brutes and Sharks but the way this lot have performed things looking much better. The young lot showed they have it between the ears this year.
