Looking forward to a home game after the two week safari in SA. At last we should get a chance to see Willie Ripia in action at 10 and maybe JOC (James O'Connor) slide to inside centre for a stint. Will be interested to see if the change will kickstart some more attacking flair (something akin to the Crusaders in London would be nice). JOC (James O'Connor) has been relied apon hugely so far this season to make things happen.

Does it look like Ripia will be good to go? I'd love to see that set-up, I don't think Gene has been too bad or anything, just lacks the electricity of JOC (James O'Connor)... the assumption is of course that Ripia will add more to the team at 10 than Fairbanks at 12. I think that there's a lot to like about Ripia so look forward to it!

A real danger game for the Force...

The Rebels can be dangerous, especially at home, but they don't seem to travel as well and they are being bit by the injury bug (Cooper Vuna out for the game). The Force have good support but jeez we have a shocking home record. I think we have enough talent to account for the Rebels and the boys are less likely to pick up a dose of food poisening. Great conditions forecast for Saturday so hopefully they throw the ball around and play an expansive game. I think Rory Sidey is also back this week after being rubbed out following the Sharks game. Definietly need a win to keep in touch in the leaders in our conference. Go the Force!

I don't want to see Ripia at 10 just yet. This is a must-win for the Force and, as everyone knows, O'Connor has been fantastic at 10. Ripia has only had 30 mins or so trial game time two months ago. I would expect to see him come off the bench... but there is a Western Force 'A' game that could prove useful. I didn't see all of the Rebels match but was Rodzilla so bad as to not even make the squad of 25 for this week?

If you're talking about the trial in Sydney: Ripia played well in that game. Bossy little bugger.

Rodzilla is not in the travelling party, you mean? You sure? Hard to believe: he played well last week I thought.

Yeah I wouldn't expect Ripia to be up to full speed yet but definitely would like to see him get some game time. The Rugby Heaven website rated Rodzilla 7/10 for his performance against the Canes last week and I don't recall any injury to him from the game.

Rodzilla has definitely been hard done by if he wasn't injured last week - I thought he had a really solid return game, although he did only play about 50 minutes from memory. Some really good runs, solid in the scrums and I think he scored a try as well. As a force supporter, I'm definitely not unhappy that they've replaced him with Henderson. Perhaps the reasoning is that Henderson might want to put in a good performance against his old team.

I'd definitely like to see Ripia be given a run off the bench in the second half if fit. I think the force will look a much better attacking unit with JOC (James O'Connor) at 12, despite Fairbanks having put in some solid performances. I'm of the impression that Willie has a pretty solid distribution game, so should be able to put JOC (James O'Connor) into a few more gaps, rather than JOC (James O'Connor) having to create something from nothing as he does now most of the time. Plus it should result in the outside backs getting a bit more ball as well. Still waiting for Smith to hit his straps for the force, but I think this could be the week against a pretty week Rebels backline.

I can't believe they dropped Rodzilla. Hopefully they are taking the view that he needed a week to recover from his effort and his first super game in years. It must of been a shock to the system to be introduced straight into the starting side. He'd have to be hurting physically.

Bloody hell! surely that is not the case, he gets a week off between matches - starting or not.

The Rebels played great rugby to win last week but the defence of centre Lachlan Mitchell must be a concern to McQueen. He missed more than he made against the Canes. I think he will see planty of traffic come his way against the Force as Richard Graham would not have missed his performance on the tapes.

I will echo that Ripia should come off the bench. He hasn't been training with the team and will need too get his combinations right before leading the backline.

The rebels look good and I hope the 1 week good the next bad thing is right. This will be the first week I'm not supporting them.

The force need 5 points too be honest.

This is a tipping nightmare in my opinion because you don't know who is going too turn up from Melbourne. If it's the rebels that beat the cains we could be in real trouble.

I do however think this week will be the start of a big downhill tebogon for the rebels. Away from home just isn't there cup of tea.

The force don't have that bad a home record at nib do they?

Go the force!!!!

The Force do need five points or it'll be another one of those "coulda been" years. Been too many for us already! I wouldn't minid seeing Ripia start knowing that you can always bring Fairbanks on and JOC (James O'Connor) back to 12. Either way could be good but I agree with the earlier post about JOC (James O'Connor) getting opportunities instead of being the guy that has to create them from scratch all of the time. Suppose we'll find out soon either way.

I think NIB is much better than Subiaco (Patterson's - what happened there!!) where we won more away than at home. Living in Melbourne, I love seeing the sea of ocean blue in the stadium, and same as you Shiggins, first game I won't be going for the Rebels. I hope it's a good game for both teams with force scoring a bonus point win ;)
