That was some pretty good play by the Force but Sharpie a bit isolated & Hooper all over it, good work Hooper. But Brumbies can't find touch. Saved by Force kicking it back.

One thing Sharpie has always had a problem with is going on his own and getting issolated, Paul O'Connell has been the same too. They're the type that like to lead from the front but sometimes they just get too far out in front.

Wonderful try from a maul by the Force. Love a maul try.

Great stuff Lynn. Brumbies may hang on from here but they need to wake up.

That pen should be just enough to seal the win for the Brumbies 28-17 now, 7 minutes to go.

Yep Brums to hold on from here. They should be absolutely pissed off after this game, a win yes but really scrappy. The Force have done well to bring some respectability to the scoreline but their horrid start has made it a bridge too far.

What was White doing kicking that pen quickly and not getting even close to touch. You'd think it was the Brumbies who needed two scores.

The refs different interpretation at the breakdown in the second half nearly gave me a heart attack.......

Brumbies hung on and won it 28-17 but on that 2nd half performance it will almost feel like a loss. They had to work a lot harder in the 2nd half than the 1st would have suggested.

Force have something to take from the game after a very good performance after the break, but still you would worry about why they didn't turn up in the 2nd half.

Even though gaining the5 competition points, I think the worst thing that happened to the Brumbies was scoring 4 tries before half time.

After that they looked like they took their foot of the throat and some poor kicking (3/7= 9 points missed) made the game closer than it should have.

But not taking anything away from the Force in the second half, who played much better and it's a case of 'what if' they put in a complete 80 minute effort. Also that last play of the first half when they went for the try instead of 3 points didn't help their cause at all.

A disaapointing way for Nathan Sharpe to play his last game in Perth.

Classic Force performance. So predicatble. Ryan Cross was right - they don't know how to win. Pocock should leave for the sake of his own career. Must be so disappointing to play for a team that just can't win despite years of poaching home grown talent from other clubs. Time to consolidate and give the Rebels some depth.

He looked to be having a good time out there, a couple of playful push and shoves with Hooper ending with hugs, high fives with Fardy and he was laughing almost every scrum with the talk between Moore and Alexander to Sharpe. Seemed right at home with the Brumby boys :D

You'd think after that that he is more likely to move now. He can see the Brumbies are on the cust of another dynasty, and after rolling the Force with little effort in the first half, when they were supposed to come out firing, I have this feeling that it might be the straw that breaks the camels back.

I'd much prefer Hooper stayed with us and didn't just fade away like he will at the Tards, but for the good of Aus rugby, Pocock moving here might be a good thing. You don't want your Wallaby captain accustomed to losing every weekend, no matter how well he plays for them.

Where the hell do you live Moono74? I remember saying to Tai McIsaac when he left the Gold Coast for the Force, "I hope you like cold weather,Tai"! He said "cold weather, Perth is level with Sydney, isn't it"? I said "yes. but the winds blow up from the South Pole, so it's bloody cold, bloody windy and wet in winter" (that's their 'wet season')!!
Just north of Perth where the sun shines constantly on us and we smell the sweet Indian
ocean breeze.
