As a force fan I'm happy it's red because it's consistent with the current laws. However I think it's a stupid rule.

Red card, penalty try and Banks broke his cheek bone. That’s about 6 weeks for it to heal properly. Did it in Subbies and I’ll tell you what it feels weird to stand up with a literal dent in your face.

Not sure about the red there, definitely a yellow at minimum but the contact definitely took banks by surprise, I'm not sure he was entirely attempting to make a tackle there as much as cover the space

Real shame because he's been in some stellar form.
As it’s mainly a injury with little risk if it rebreaks, you technically can play earlier if you want but as we’re far out from finals I doubt he will. I recall a NRL player played in a grand final a few years ago after surgery to fix it.

Laws are that is a red but I can't understand that a headclash is one but in the 'caines v moana pasifika game dropping a guy on his head is only a penalty.
