My team "15 M Hoopers" isn't too flash but gee I am excited for the season to start.

I'm not too surprised by that in the year following a World Cup - I don't recognise about half the names of the Round 1 teams at all!

We drafted at 8pm last night. Changing the scoring so much means we don't really know how it is going to pan out. The draft wont be as important as the waiver wire over the next few rounds.

Sorry, got my days mixed up - I have a 1 year old who's refusing to sleep so the days blur together! Also incidentally the reason I knew I wouldn't be able to make the draft as 8pm is prime time for trying to coax him to stop inflicting his lungs on the neighbours and go to sleep.

Not too unhappy with my draft picks, headlined by the Minibus. Can't say I'd have chosen KB (Kurtley Beale) as my flyhalf but them's the breaks and one could do worse. I hope!

If you’re playing in our comp with the 15 man teams it’s pretty much using the scoring from the old Fox fantasy game. If you played in that 100 points was a high individual score, compared with 40 in the FRD

What an epic match up we’ve had, we are 1 & 2 for the round and it’s coming down to this last match, you have the in form Jag lock Petti, I have Cubelli who is a star but he’s coming off the bench. I don’t know what happened to Thomas du Toit, I gave away James Lentjes for him because my Jags prop wasn’t named, he must have had a bender or something as he was definitely in the Shorks lineup, that’s why I picked him.

I enjoyed it too, great matchup. It's not over yet, they seem to spend till about 6pm on a Sunday tinkering with the scores
