I think Slippers comments were spot on. What else can you say?
A few of these blokes have played for the team for a few years. Friendships grow amongst the group. I'm sure that over time more are brought into the inner fold. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is the Grand Master.

Mates are mates whether they rugby, league, soccer or whatever.

Whilst I am positive that virtually all would think him a goose/dickhead/whatever for what he did, the fact that no-one (other than Lilo and a few) liked Di (for whatever reason) and the fact that most blokes would "like" KB (Kurtley Beale) has tempered the players attitudes.

He's there now. Get over it !!!!!!

However, if you're trying to work out whether the Wallabies as a whole think Beale is a good bloke and someone they want as part of the squad or the complete opposite, all signs point towards them wanting him to remain part of the group.

As far as I can tell only Slipper, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Hooper, Phipps and Folau have come out with statements supporting Beale so I don't know how you can come to that conclusion it all. That's 4 out of 33. Other players may think something but not be inclined to make a public statement. Some players may feel pressure to support Beale as clearly the coach and captain are in his corner. Or look at is this way, a player is hardly going to condemn Beale now are they? How would you intepret Lealiifanos', Tomane's and Moore's support of Patston? Is that anti-Beale?

He raises a good point though. Those other players were very clear in their support of Patston. Be interesting to know where those players stand in relation to Beale.

Or have they been muzzled because the leadership group want Beale back?

IMO it's an alarming sign of team culture that one of the team leaders says Beale has nothing to prove either. What about earning some respect back? What about making up for all the disruption he's caused the team with his appalling behaviour?

When Cory Jane and Israel Dagg went on their ill advised mid-WC bender, the clearest message they received of how badly they'd screwed up didn't come from the NZRU or even the coaches. It came from the teams leadership group. Their peers. And in Henry's own words, they shit themselves.

That's what's lacking here. The group of people who should be holding Beale most accountable for his actions - the senior leaders of his team - appear to have simply wiped the slate clean with no apparent consequences.

I doubt it. Cheika will do what HE wants. :D

precisely.
exactly what a head coach should do.
he is responsible and his cock is on the block
we are not and ours are not.

let's all try to avoid distracting the axeholder by our petty and incompetent wailing and shrieking and thus causing him to drop his blade on TGC's member.

when the time comes to drop the blade, let's do it.
i'll take 2-3 more Soup titles and a RWC before i judge that it's chopping time.

The real question is: Is it anti-team ? I think Moore's comments were really a reflection of the ARU. It will be interesting to see if the "team" becomes a little fractured.

The dynamics will surely unfold, but it will certainly be worth a chapter in some players book in the future - maybe AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) (as he will be leaving Aussie rugby first methinks).

Plus Higginbotham and Foley at least.

I guess it comes down to what do you think is more likely?

The players hate Beale and want him gone but for some reason multiple players support him publicly.

or

The players like him as part of the team and that's why plenty have come out in support of Beale.

The public support for Patston might have counted for more if any of it had happened prior to her resigning. It was crickets prior to that.

The available evidence points towards the players not sharing the same sentiment regarding Beale that much of the public does.
