One word……. OUTSTANDING!
I‘m still in shock….from a ‘lowly’ number 9 in the world! Beating the Pommy favourites at Twickers and a young man debuting for the Wallabies having not played rugby for 5 years…. Gee whiz…. Last play to run the ball and not look for a 50/50 drop goal was great vision.

“Can’t believe we are rushing in this kid who hasn’t played rugby”

“Moving Ikitau is a disaster”

Some posters on here can eat a big slice of humble pie and shut their farking mouths.

Great win and I dare say it was the best game Len has played in gold which is a big call because he’s had a great few years.

Let’s not undersell Jorg’s pure speed and finish there either.

Bright things ahead with some of the young backs. And I’d argue even more impressive because flyhalf still weak compared to other positions.

That was incredible! Mods, we might need more numbers than 3-2-1 for the voting.

Pretty sure we have found our centre pairing although JAS will probably end up at 12 once he settles in.

What.A. Win. Was half expecting poms to roll all over us 20 min in, but we just hit a reset button or something, and to come from 17 points down, and keep scoring to win at the death.

Best game I've watched the Wobs play at Twickenham for a long time.

He doesn’t play like a 12 at all? Plus physically his height will become an issue as a crash ball centre and make him prone to being held- up.

What a great game to watch. England played some great rugby but I feel like we ran their forward pack off their feet.

Great performances across the park. A couple of special mentions though -

- Valetini has had some great games in the last couple of years but I don’t think he’s played any better than that.
- Ikitau outstanding at 12. Best he’s played in gold in 12 months.
- Sua'ali'i’i - what a debut. Cracking game.
- I was a bit of a doubter with Williams - but if that is what he keeps putting out, suddenly our locks look right up there (thought Frost continues to improve too)
- Bell - I thought Genge was all over him early but barely sighted after 20 and Bell only got better
- Wilson & McReight both very good too and Faessler industrious

Pick the same 23 next weekend. They’ve absolutely earned it.

Edit - sorry, big oversight. Have to specifically mention Tom Wright. Everything you’d want in a Wallaby fullback. Outstanding game.

I thought after I wrote that that perhaps leaving them as they are I.e switching in defense might actually be the answer:. the poms were doing the same thing. Wasn’t thinking of him as a crash baller, more an offloading role like SBW
