Jake White is bringing in Eddie Jones to do a little consultancy work at the Brumbies. With the England job calling White's name, do you think this is part of his exit plan?

If he were to announce his departure at the end of the season and that Eddie was stepping into his shoes, it might show sufficient continuity at the Brumbies due to Eddies active involvement throughout the season...

He's always stated that Eddie would come in from time to time to help out. Just like George Gregan has been helping out.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Jones has been in a formal consulting role with the Brumbies since at least April last year, it was one of White's first actions to appoint him and Gregan. This isn't new, just SMH catching up with the big wide world outside of NSW.

Yes, Jake White plans on leaving the Brumbies, and is personally, without the input of the Brumbies' board, going to appoint Eddie Jones head coach...

Despite Jones having just been appointed head coach of Japan.

FAIL.

I never said that he would/could appoint him without notifying the board. I am just saying Eddie could be a good replacement for Jake if he decides to leave. My bad for not looking into his contract terms with Japan. Apologies Brumbies fans...

It was just supposed to be a little bit of fun but apologies for offending your delicate sensibilities Slim
