Highlights of the weekend

- The Harlequins had their second draw of the season against Footscray, maintaining a tight competition at the top.
- Melbourne's commanding 67-0 victory over Melbourne Uni was a standout performance.
- Box Hill and Moorabbin had a nail-biter, with Box Hill just edging out Moorabbin by a single point.
- Power House demonstrated their dominance with solid wins across all grades.

Let’s keep the conversation going about these fantastic matches and celebrate the spirit of Victorian rugby. Who stood out for you this weekend?

House is on Fire

Hell yeah House is on fire!

Former House player here, don't get to every match but try to get down to as many home games as possible. Great that the club is going so well lately, really buoyant and positive mood around the club. Brought the 4th grade side on this year and still have too many numbers to fit everyone onto a team sheet each week, which is an excellent problem to have.

Will add some updates here for some of the matches I get to.

Great to see Saumaisue play on the weekend. Would be very handy at the Drua I reckon.

I'm just amazed that he's not in South Africa with the under 20s. Forget the Drua, hopefully he picks up a contract with one of the Australian Super Rugby sides for next year. Maybe do a year with one of the northern states academies and play Shute Shield or Hospital Cup.

He'd be much better to go to the Drua or France. Yeah I cant believe he is not in either the junior wobs or Fijian side

Judah's not with a Fijian side because he's born and bred in Melbourne and wants to be a professional player in Australia.

Yeah he ran with the Fiji under 20s last year but this year he nominated and tried to qualify for the Australian under 20s.

I know he is a Melbourne kid but he did play for Fiji 20s last yr. I personally think he's be better playing for the Drua or going to France than spending a yr in club football

Some great matches tomorrow - I see Quins will have the internationals on in the club - what could be better on a chilly afternoon than some live rugby then watch the games in front of the roaring fire.

Well another great day for Power House. 5 from 5 through 1st to 4th grade and women. 1st grade with a really tough game against the dogs, snatched a win with a try to captain Busta after the siren and a conversion by the Governor to win by a point. Sore head this morning.

Edit oh actually the women lost

What a Cracker of a Weekend!

We've just witnessed an exhilarating round of matches with some of the highest scores this season! Congratulations to the House team for their spectacular performance. Their victory this weekend has propelled them clear at the top of the ladder. Well played!

Bored of all the circular chats going on in other feeds (who cares about the Tahs, yeah yeah yeah the Reds have got the best Rebs players, we all know RA are a basket case)

Well f%*k all that - some cracking matches tomorrow the pick probably Unicorns vs House (plus always outstanding snags at Orrong Park)
