Watch some more T20, LG. That clearly stimulates you to great observation :)

I go with the vibe, too.

I have pointed out several times that the raw numbers (they are not "statistics") on player performance can be very misleading. What matters is the outcomes of the actions in the numbers.

I disagree. He certainly does some flashy stuff but as those stats show, he's making plenty of tackles and I'm sure if you could find some stats on the amount of rucks he's hitting he'd be right up there for that too. That's why he's such a great player. He does the hard yards and still has energy to make the big plays.

His own = 156 (ave 14.18 per game)
Counter Rucking = 40 (ave 3.64 per game)

As a comparison:

Hodgo averages 21.50 and 11.33
Mowen averages 15.17 and 4.42
Mumm averages 20.6 and 3.6
TPN averages 17.64 and 3.73
Higgers averages 20.25 and 4.50

i always find ruck stats very misleading, hosgo like brown get to alot but they dont have the same effect on them a palu or rocky or smith and waugh have, being there doesnt actually = having any effect ont he gaqme whatsoever

Hmmm, comparing Hodgson vs Waugh in terms of effectiveness at the ruck this year? I'd give it to Hodgson, who has been very effective this year at ruck time. Arguably more so than Rocky, Palu and Smith too.
