Great win the Reds, deserved it, no-one can doubt it. Several key Crusaders had off games - McCaw not at his best, Carter either apart from 1 moment of brilliance. But the Reds just held their nerve in defence. Huge.

Congrats to the Reds franchise and all their fans and ring-ins. Hung tough and walked away with (ugly) trophy.

Disappointed to lose, but quietly proud of the Crusader team and making the final after an indifferent year.

Congratulations to both teams for a great season. The Saders just never give in. The Reds have been pure joy to watch over the past two seasons. The again showed they can play tough, tight rugby as well as ball in hand.

They not only out tackled the Saders, they were at least as disciplined across the field and there aren't too many teams that can manange that. It was a team effort where the team was stronger than the sum of it's parts.

To all those loyal QLD supporters who were there through the hard years, this was a victory for the true believers.

Congrats to the Reds, great season and a great way to cap it off against the best tonight. Congrats too to a most worthy opponent and one that's been through a lot this year.

Good on Southern Hemisphere rugby, what a competition!

congrats to the Reds, it's easier to lose to a team that was clearly better on the day and you certainly were. Both teams seemed very nervous and were far off their best, but you guys took your chances as they were. Well done.

A few of the better Reds players were also average. So...
