Did they plan on doing any marketing at all for this one?
Yeah I only heard about through the KOKO show. Given there are two ticketed events (Mel and Syd), I would've hoped to see some more noise about it. Hopefully provides some fun viewing and not too many torn hammies

From the 10 or so minutes I watched, they did the right amount of marketing (close to zero).
Ehhh, was a reasonably entertaining watch if not going in with high expectations around actual quality of rugby. I must say, the commentary from Haskell, Horwill, and Swain (with additional guests) was pretty hilarious at times.

Yeah, it was fine but likewise if this had been pumped up as a big event I think there would be a lot of unhappy people wondering why the fuck they paid for tickets.

Hearing people talk crap on the commentary was more interesting than the actual game.

I started watching but honestly when I saw Mark Gerrard's belly and Julian Huxley looking like a church organist I just felt old and got a bit melancholy. By the time Drew Mitchell blew his hammy I was already watching cricket highlights.
