Lee - also noticed the missed tackles by Beale and Shmoo, especially when doing the video for the front page. However, that was with about 30 points on the board. Not sure if it's the right mindset, but I guess the girls aren't gonna put the fingernails on the line for no reason?

I'm a big believer in committing yourself to the tackle or you get hurt.

Chiefs winger Dwayne Sweeney has been cited for a dangerous tackle during his team's Super 14 match against the Waratahs at Waikato Stadium, in Hamilton on Saturday.

Citing Commissioner Steve Hinds cited Sweeney for an alleged dangerous tip tackle on Waratahs winger Drew Mitchell in the 19th minute of the match.

The Waratahs won the match 49-19.

Sweeney will attend a judicial hearing at 4pm on Monday, at the NZRU offices in Wellington.

The Chiefs play the Blues this weekend and both are out of contention for the play offs.

Anyone recall this happening? I can't remember this tackle at all.

Yeah it was shown a few times during the TV coverage. Based on what has earnt a yellow card so far this season, he could have been carded, and it would certainly have been a penalty - had any of the officials seen it. I'm just happy Mitchell is good to go against the Canes.

Yeah I remember, CJ Van Der Linde headbutted Sam Cordingley, Lyndon Bray awarded a penalty, while Van Der Linde got 3 weeks on top of that.

Poor form for the "expert panel" not to ask The Fuse about the incident when he was a guest on the Rugby Club this week - unless they had been told not to.

Sometimes when a on-field incident results in a yellow card, a citing is avoided due to the panel deeming "sufficient on-field punishment". Which, of course, is bullshit.
