Chiefs v Reds 5.05pm Friday 12/05 - New Plymouth

Thought I'd get the ball rolling early this week.
The Reds are on a hiding to nothing. The Chiefs will probably take the opportunity to rest key players, as could the Reds.
But then again, the Reds might be thinking that the Chiefs have to lose a game at some stage, so go for it.
We can only wait and see.

Yep well have got tickets to game Emu, so hoping for good one. I guessing we will see Chiefs rest a few as you say, guessing we will see Slater at hooker, Vai'i and Lord at lock,Boshier and PGS in loose all local boys, and Rona at 13.

Blame The Sydney Morning Herald for that piece of inaccurate reporting.
Though to be fair the draw for Super did say it in Hamilton. Then NP council offered a few $s si it would be easy for me to go up to!! ;)

Still just the one stand & some terraces, I gather? So if 10K turn up it'll be a full house or near enough to it?

Yep, they just finished roof on the one stand , so I would thought 10k would be maximum , I up in stand as far back as I could get. As it golden wedding anniverary I thought Mrs Dan deserved seats in Gold section! Though forecast not bad for Friday.

Hmmm…easy thing to say would be “WTAF!!” but I’m going to err on the side of diplomacy and say “isn’t it great we have a state franchise where anyone can get selected!!!?????”

Very surprised no Rona at centre , a local New Plymouth boy with feel good story for year, ie on part time contract etc and then killing it! Might show why MacMillan has got team humming though?

Just out of interest WOB , don't know if you watched aftermatch og Chiefs/Clan game last week, MacMillan has said a fulltime contract is on table in front of Rona, as he really wants him to stay!
