That's because the ARU have bailed you guys out twice and ensured that the rugby dollars are plowed in to keeping you guys somewhat successful. We have to push shit uphill just to keep afloat. Did you think Super Rugby was an even playing field for all States? Surely you jest Sir!
Settle down, i am not a Force supporter or live in Perth. I feel that the Force have not moved forward since they have been part of super rugby and i cannot see them making the finals for many many years.
There 20s are not strong so there only hope is signing players but do they have people watching the other States club competitions and even the other states colts competitions?
To me they are just making up the numbers, sir i dont jest

We had friends over for BBQ & drinks so I'm in catchup mode but how good was Ngatai last night? Just give him the AB 12 jersey now esp after Moala's bumbling shift last week.

Tribe forwards continue to punch well above their collective weight, if/ when they get Retallick back & Seu reverts to 6 they're gonna put some serious hurt on some poor bastard(s).

with his exemplary decision making I'd far rather have him at centre. He just doesnt put a foot wrong and reads play so well.
Fekitoa? 12 please. His decision making is just too erratic.
Moala maybe a 12.
Crotty? Poor Crotty.

Naa DP, I gotta say I like Nagtai at 12, think he more effective there, and I know it probably just me, but I like 12 to have a pretty solid type of game. Also seems he got defense systems for 12 worked out well, which tends to be a little different to 13.

^^^^^^^^^^^ FWIW that's pretty much the way I see it, too. To my mind Fekitoa at this stage of his career is a 13 who may one day develop a kicking game & transition to 12. Or he might not. Either way, right now he needs to be partnered by a Smith-type player & Ngatai looks the most Smith-like of the candidates ATM.

To my mind Fekitoa looks like an axe murderer, keeping it together to play professional rugby. He's a scary sort of dude.

Anyway after finally watching game, all you can really say is 'holy shit', that Chiefs team can certainly play a pretty entertaining style of rugby. They were very good I thought, can certainly transit from defence to attack very smartly, and players just seemed to scream up to get in support. Young DMac certainly looks like he enjoys being involved, works his butt of to get the ball in his hands as often as possible. Very impressed with Cane, he certainly got AB 7 jersey completely wrapped up, and Ngatai just continues to look like a player with all the attributes, a bit impressed with his kicking game as well as all the rest.
Can I also add how much I like Matt Hodgson, works his guts out for Force all day long, certainly enjoy his well thought out words after the game, he seems to have a good take of where things are!!

Obviously he's got some issues, hence this on his Instagram back in February:

"I've got a huge problem with anger. I don't handle some situation very well on and off the field. I get really angry sometimes and flip out so I would like to Apologize publicly to any of you if I ever said something really hurtful to you at home, on the field and through social media. I'm ashamed and regretful, Lesson learnt. I suggest that no matter how old you are or who you are. Whatever it is. You need to speak to someone about it. Your feelings and what's inside you. Its never bad until it will cost you. #CallOutForHelp"

I have no idea of the context (other than that it was three days later that news of his split from his partner broke) but you've gotta be a little worried about any 23-year-old who comes out with that.

This game had the standard metaphor and difference between Aus backlines and Kiwi backlines at the moment

At one stage the Force kick and the Chiefs have all worked hard to get back and create many, many options for the receiver.

A few moments later reverse is happening and no one had worked back, no options
