Half time Chiefs 13 Crusaders 17

Chiefs playing very well. Crusaders have bombed a couple of chances themselves. Crusaders got penalised for having the more dominant scrum just before half time.

Saders getting all their points from broken play as usual. No phases. SBW's first two touches led directly to turnovers due to his stupid habit of offloading in the tackle all the time.

Chiefs showing the keys to beating the Saders, and any good team in today's game - big, neutralising tackles that either halt the team on the advantage line or drive them backwards, and aggresive (legal) counter rucking.

Even if they don't win, they'll have proved a great deal to the rest of the comp.

Those takcles from Richard Kahui were crackers. Sonny Bill trying to get the ball away again loses the ball again - pulling my hair out everytime he does that. Now a crap kick from the chiefs but get it back.

Surely you'd be able to bear the dropped ball from SBW, given the number of great offloads he gives?

Another try directly from a turn over. Don't tun the ball over and the Saders will struggle to score. Chiefs been very good so far. SBW with 4 handling errors. Hold onto the ball, man!

Good point. They are good when they come off. I just thought the ball looked a bit wet out there and maybe hanging onto it a bit more would be the go but yes I should take the good with the bad on SBW's offloads.

AAARRGH. He's my fantasy team capt. Shit

I've got Williams and Dagg and I know it takes a while for points to accumulate but they havent done so well this rd. I had the same deal a few rd's ago with my blues players when it was a wet game, hardly got any points.

Was a knock on by McCaw, but Saders awarded the try and bonus point. A sign of a good side is to win when you have not played that well, which the Saders have done.

Yeah I thought that knock on miss was a bit lucky. Saders below par but I thought the chiefs played very well, score certainly didnt reflect the game.

Not quite sure what's happened to Liam Messam he looks a little groggy.

He was on top of one of the Franks brothers and gave him 2 short punches to the faces.

Franks gets up and continues on while Messam was on his knees groggy.

Anyone else see that?

Messam's gone for a few weeks I suspect.

It was Flynn and btw I think he's the only weakness in the Crusaders team
