Seeing what the Chiefs did to the Crusaders last week gives real cause for concern for the Brums this week. Crusaders really struggled to find space and the Chiefs ruthlessly exploited the turnovers their pressure created. Chiefs scrum also dominant. You would expect a response from the Brumbies but down on troops it will be a big ask. Chiefs have a 13.5 start on sportsbet at the moment which looks good value...

Less than great game last week, but still - look at that line out. Brumbies need to start stamping their authority from this game.

Has Jack D been injured? Interesting they're selecting Meredith over him, especially how under used he appeared to be last week.

Be interesting to see how Aidan Ross goes against the Brumbies pack, there’s a small chance he could be called into the Wallabies from June given he has signed with the Reds for 2026

Meredith was fine, I thought he played well for his first start, he takes on the line more and has a beautiful pass. I think some of the reason he wasn't always at 5/8th was that he was taking the tackle attacking the line and others had to fill in.

I think his got more upsides then Jack D, so happy for him to play for now. Hopefully Noah's back sooner then later. I think Hoopers a big lose but having Scott back is good. Would prefer if Neville wasn't there and we had Hooper but he was always gone for this week.

I'm not knocking the guy, I don't think think he had a bad game however they seemed reluctant to use him as their game driver. Not sure if it's them trying to ease him in or a bit of a lack of confidence.

I would have thought Jack D with his experience would cover this gap for them pretty easily with Meredith coming off the bench.

This is an interesting thing the Chiefs are trying with the bands playing all day, making it a mini festival etc. Not sure it will get perhaps older fans there, but they are to be applauded for trying things I think.

Let's go Brumbies, bout time we put the chiefs to the sword. Big game for Brumbies season. Knock these guys off and the Aussies are having a great start.
