Well what a win for the Cheetahs they are really on a roll PDV would have creamed his jeans about this win.

I thought this game may be an upset with the all out attack the Cheetahs have been playing & with the Saders constantly on the road & a lot of players coming back from injury they may find the fast pace Cheetahs a hard task & they did with the Saders even missing out on a bonus point.

Well played by the Cheetahs, to defeat the Saders with Carter and McCaw in their side is a big achievement.

I wonder if either of the Ebersohn twins are in for a shot at the Boks squad, cant remember if either were included in the list given last month.

I like Sarel Pretorius the halfback I think he'd be a great halfback to bring on in a test match with 30 minutes to play.

It is an elaborate ruse to lull the Reds into a false sense of security.

In a way MK this result is also highly amusing in that just days back posters here were falling over themselves to declare this year's Cru vintage as near on the second coming in rugby genius and skills.

RH, with the footy they have played this season, I think it's understandable that people have them as favourites for the title. I think we'll know a lot more about the Reds next week after playing them. I for one will be hoping like hell that the QLD boys can pull it off.

Classic win. With some of the Rugby the Tin Ears (cheers for the nickname Paarl) have played this year, I have developed a bit of a soft spot for them.

The game was a lot closer until Carter and SBW were replaced. Cheetahs have potentially done the Reds a huge favor come finals time, where the home teams have such a big advantage. Saders away don't look nearly as threatening.

Although definantly still threatening, Did anybody else think SBW was not as dangerous without Fruen at OC?

Give that man a Bells!

Still waiting for Ali response on the match. He usually write essays about his Cantabs. If you want to copy the choke one in 2011, this was it. I dont call this choke like the modern lot, lots and lots of Tin Ear rugby heart beating all odds supported by a mielie chomping passionate crowd. Not even fancy boys Carter and McAwe can survive this.

to quote myself...

how gutsy was that! crusaders were amazing but i think they might actually struggle next weekend against the cheetahs. the word is that mccaw and carter are back but i think the cheetahs are on the way up and the game will be too fast for a crusaders team trying to back up with so many injuries and after such an epic.

shame about the rest of my picks...:(

I think the Chiefs especially and the Reds might be cursing the Cheetahs big time. The Crusaders will be hurting badly and a wounded Crusader is not a pretty enemy. That said, in reality this result has done a huge favour to the Reds, Blues, Stormers and Sharks. The outright favourite is now likely to have to play finals away. While they play finals away better than any other team, they are giving away a huge advantage.

Spot on Hawko, although hopefully a ritual flogging of the Chiefs this weekend should take some of the sting out of them. If the Chiefs manage to magic up another win things could be nasty at Suncorp. Bloody happy we have the bye this weekend so the guys can recharge a bit.

the cheetahs are not the easy beats of yesteryear>
they are putting on plenty of 50s or thereabouts this years> so happy to see teams who try to play good rugby getting rewarded!
