CHS probably entitled to feel a bit harshly treated with only 2 in 1sts after almost winning the title. Meanwhile, ISAs charmed run with selectors continues with 6 in the 1sts after losing 2 from 3 matches including a 5-39 loss to Pres A, who in turn lost to CHS. I know it's about picking the best individual
players, but presumably more than 2 CHS lads were responsible for their strong performance over the 3 matches played.
It's my understanding that a fair few of the CHS and CCC boys were in the club championships a few Days ago. I expect most of them to make the Sydney team

Certainly some great young talent in these teams from all the associations... Is anyone able to confirm where the boys are playing? The NSW Schools Rugby site says its at The Academy of Sport at Narrabeen, but I have also heard it could be at Waverley College/Queens Park so any confirmation would be a great help

Results from today

Sydney 20 def Country 17
Country out of the blocks early, Sydney got into their groove and then country struck back towards the end

NSW Schools/1 26 def NSW Schools/2 24
A great game...the 2's got on the board first and were on top, then the 1's struck back and it was game on with some great play from end to end.
A late try at the end to the 2's after building pressure and a shot at goal could've evened up the score and a draw would've been a fitting result

All up 2 cracking games of footy and great skills and sportsmanship all round
This was a well run event and certainly a tough job for selectors ahead
The referees should also get a nod for a job well done ..they let the games flow and the boys play right across the weekend, which is how it should be
