Tahs247, sorry, clearly I wasn't clear.
Of course any type of scholarship can be given out but don't call it a music scholarship when in fact the real reason is the boy is a superstar sportsman.

Also don't bring a boy in at the last moment eg year 10-11 just to win a comp.
Yes a school can do whatever it likes but everyone knows it's fake,and if your boy missed out after years of effort and fees you probably wouldn't be too happy either! Imo.

Catch pass, I agree with you,my point was the year 7 strategy can backfire, whereas bringing in boys at the latter years has serious issues,as you have pointed out.

Personally I would rather win a comp with home grown boys than ring-ins!

On the CAS 2017 thread there was talk a while back about another kid starting at Knox next year. Glassie? Don't know much about him, thoughts anyone?
